Day 1 – Zanzibar → Kilimanjaro → Lake Eyasi
Morning flight from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro International Airport. The drive to Lake Eyasi takes you through the Karatu highlands and down into the Rift Valley. Arrive at the lake by mid-afternoon. Walk to the shore and enjoy a beautiful sunset at the lake, watching fishermen coming back to their village
Overnight at Lake Eysai
Day 2 – Dawn with the Hadzabe — Datoga in the Afternoon
Before sunrise, you leave camp with a small group of Hadzabe hunters. They track, they listen, they communicate in clicks.
By mid-morning you return to camp and spend time with their families. In teh faternoon, visit to a Datoga blacksmith community. Iron forges in the open air, arrowheads taking shape under hammer blows, the smell of charcoal and hot metal.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Zanzibar
Early departure from the Eyasi, climbing back through the highlands to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater for a morning game drive — 260 km² of enclosed savanna, lion prides at leisure, hippos in the central lake, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, and the rare black rhino moving slowly through the long grass.
Drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport and take an evening flight back to Zanzibar.
